Summary
This course is an English language offering of our cooperation with Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR), Curitiba, Brazil. Cauê Krüger will give an overview of contemporary art in Brazil. His specialization in anthropology and sociology determines his perspective, which are at the same time relevant methods and discourses in the field of contemporary art worldwide. The course will first take place online in Zoom.
On May, 3, 5 and 6 (9 to 12am each), Cauê Krüger will be in Linz as a guest lecturer. Prof. Dr. Ilaria Hoppe will accompany the course.
About Cauê Krüger
Cauê Krüger is adjunct professor at Catholic University of Paraná (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná), Brazil. He holds Doctoral and Master degrees in Anthropology and Bachelor‘s degrees both in Social Sciences and Theatre Arts.
In winter term 2021/22 Krüger took part in the lecture series Global Art History 4: Curating in the Post-Global at KU Linz, giving a lecture on The Anthropologist as Curator. Some remarks on Brazilian experiences (January 19, 2022).
