International exchange for employees of KU Linz.

KU International not only enables KU students to gain experience abroad, but also teachers, researchers and administrative staff. International experience radiates into various areas of work and tasks and supports the internationalization efforts of the Catholic Private University Linz. They promote professional development through further training measures abroad at a partner university. Taking on a guest professorship is an important aspect of further training, as is the foreign language teaching experience. Exchanges and networking with foreign colleagues are also given great importance. It helps to intensify the relationship with our partner universities and enables experience with other university systems.

Within Europe, a stay at a partner university can be funded through the Erasmus+ program. A distinction is made between two types of residence:

• Continuing education and training measures for teachers and academic staff.
• Continuing education and training measures for employees.
